Bloemfontein – Centlec SOC has placed its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Zoe Williams, on precautionary suspension marking a dramatic turn in a matter that has attracted public attention for months and raised serious questions about the municipal entity’s recruitment and governance processes.

The suspension comes weeks after Step Up SA News published reports highlighting concerns surrounding Williams’ qualifications and whether she met the minimum requirements advertised for the CFO position. Central to the controversy were questions regarding an NQF Level 7 qualification, a requirement contained in the advertisement for the post.
