Bloemfontein – A man was arrested on Wednesday after traffic officials discovered that he had been using multiple temporary driver’s licences bearing different surnames and identities.
According to information gathered at the scene, the suspect has abeen driving using at least three different temporary licences since being employed in May last year.
Officials further explained that one of the licences had his photograph placed over another person’s document in an apparent attempt to conceal the fraud.
Traffic officials who inspected the documents reportedly noticed irregularities that would easily go unnoticed by members of the public unfamiliar with official licensing documents.

The suspect was arrested on the spot after authorities uncovered the different temporary licences during an inspection.
Images seen by this publication show the suspect in handcuffs alongside police officials, while several temporary licence documents with differing details were also confiscated as part of the investigation.
