Sasolburg – A total of seven people lost their lives on R57 between Heilbronn and Petrussteyn earlier today.
Four adults and three children lost their lives after a negligent driver overtaking over a barrier line caused the accident.
This accident happens while Free State Provincial Government is hard at work with road blocks to urge motorists to be patient and rest after every 200 km.
The road is closed and motorists are urged to use alternative roads.
