HUMAN SETTLEMENTS REWARDS ‘RALITLHAPA’ AFTER TLALI SHIPPED OUT

Bloemfontein – The Free State Department of Human Settlements has appointed Tshepiso “Ralitlhapa” Motsima to the vacant Chief Director: Planning position.

The appointment follows the transfer of former Chief Director Carol Tlali to the Office of the Premier earlier this month.

Motsima becomes the third official linked to Setsoto Local Municipality to join the department under MEC Teboho Mokoena, popularly known as “Sulky”, following the appointments of Sugar Ramakarane and Nthaote Maoke,who was declared an illegal immigrant by Home Affairs.

Last week, this publication published an audio recording in which Motsima was heard making controversial remarks.

Information obtained by Step Up News has since confirmed that he has now been appointed to act in another critical position within the department.

Information emerging from Setsoto Local Municipality paints an interesting picture of Motsima and his relationship with senior figures within the department. Step Up News is currently investigating these matters and will be publishing further details in due course. We sent Motsima questions about these other allegations.

The publication is also examining the roles of other officials, including matters relating to their interests, assets, and connections, as part of a broader investigation into governance and accountability within the department.
