Bloemfontein – The wait is over. The stage is set, the lights are on and Bloemfontein is ready for 11 days of music, entertainment and celebration as the third edition of CUFA Festival officially gets underway today.

The festival got off to a stylish start at the state of the art Old Grey’s on Thursday with its official launch, followed by the CUFA Women Breakfast on Friday.

Now, the entertainment takes centre stage.

Today’s Back-2-Back Series promises to turn up the energy, with a star studded line-up featuring Amen T-Deep, Pabi Cooper, Amaroto, DJ Tshegu, Fantas, Legoody and Les, among others.

And if gospel is your sound, Sunday’s line-up is set to deliver.

Leading the charge are gospel heavyweights Pastor Benjamin Dube and Khaya Mthethwa, joined by Dumi Mkokstad, Solly Mahlangu, Omega, Nothando Hlophe and Mpumi Mtsweni.

With the festival expected to draw music lovers from across the province and beyond, Old Grey’s is set to become the heart of the action over the coming days.

We took a tour of the venue last night to get a feel for the atmosphere and see where the magic will unfold.
