Bloemfontein — The desperate African National Congress has come cap in hand, asking the electorate to give it another chance.
Another chance is a reminder of a failedist, most probably about to fail again, especially if a party that has been in power since 1994 tries to blame everyone but its deployees.
For many, there is a striking resemblance to a song by Teargas — “Chance.”
In the video, K.O is sitting in a wheelchair, and the cause is his action that led to his BMW crashing, with the lady passenger losing her life.
Just like K.O, Ramaphosa is crying for help.
“We will not mince our words and not run away from the reality that confronts our people. We will admit that, yes, we’ve worked together with our people to make tremendous progress, but we will similarly say there have been weaknesses, there have been failures and we will admit them as the ANC,” Ramaphosa said.
This comes after two leaders in recent weeks asked for the same.
Service delivery has been worse across municipalities, with little to no consequence management.
Does the ANC deserve another chance?
In other news, Kgalema Motlanthe has rejected efforts to have candidates without matric lead.
A move that will disqualify many.
