Bloemfontein – The recently opened Borwa clinic in Tweespruit uses only six rooms despite a staggering R61 million spent.

Funded by national government under Montsheng Tsiu, former MEC of Health and erstwhile Premier, Sefora Ntombela, the clinic was opened last month.

While the busiest clinic records 4000 patients a month with the less busy clinic records 2500 patients, Borwa clinic records only 200 patients a month.

STEPUPSANEWS can confirm the ablution facilities at the clinic are not fully functional as water is a challenge, the township relies heavily on borehole water supply.

A clinic without full supply of water.
