Bloemfontein – The cost of incomplete ablution facilities at Mothusi Primary School in Mangaung, Bloemfontein has not only exposed children to health risks, but also ineptness of the department.

According to a report in possession of this publication, the construction of toilets cost R4 414 727,99.
While the project is considered complete, toilets are leaking.

Incomplete partitioning is also visible.

The construction company is MSK Construction, Quantity Surveyor is Quantum Built while implementing agent and consultant is E’tsho Civils. Construction was completed in December 2024.
At least three more schools have similar problems, in some schools the toilets can’t even be used.
