  • King Edward in Willows,
  • Heatherdale road in Heidedal,
  • Alexandra Ave BFN CBD to N8,

Thaba Nchu:

  • Selosesha opposite Anglican Church

Botshabelo:

  • Jazzman Mokgothu road

Sello More, City Manager said the city is implementing rehabilitation and maintenance activities.

“Mangaung has about 3800 km long road network, 2200 km is gravel and 140” km is sealed.

The sealed network is in poor and very poor conditions. The city this struggles to maximise public safety and economic growth as it is understood that a health road network is crucial for economic growth, public safety, and community well-being, as it ensures essential services like healthcare, education, and commerce remain accessible.

It is vital to avoid costly road deterioration and accidents and neglecting maintenance significantly increases future repair costs and disrupts daily life, making ongoing investment in infrastructure a necessity for a functional road network. Thus, the city is implementing road rehabilitation and road maintenance initiatives.”

Mangaung will host Bafana Bafana v Super Eagles tonight in round 8 of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The following roads will be closed during the match:
