Mangaung – The leader of
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Julius Malema has shredded the Free State Provincial Government (FSPG) and the African National Congress into shreds over lack of services and alleged corruption.
WATCH:
Malema who led the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) was expelled leading up to the 2012 national conference in Mangaung and formed the EFF with Floyd Shivambu and others.
Ironically, he said this in Mangaung’s, Lemo Mall.
The EFF has since grown beyond what many expected with another splinter party slowly evaporating.
The 2024 national elections will be a significant measure of how the fighters perform considering their position as the 3rd largest party having been firmed in 2013.
It is the official opposition in at least three provinces and key player in local government as well.
Both the FSPG and ANC have not yet responded to claims by Malema and until then, the corruption accusation will stick.
