According to insiders, the Hawks collected documents related to CSR&T/ BID14/2023/2024 on Wednesday and interviewed BAC and BEC.
The crux of the matter according to another source is the meeting didn’t quorate and signatures were forged.
When this tender was advertised Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae was the MEC and had just met contractors and threatened them with termination if they didn’t plough back.
Warrant Officer Fikiswa Matoti had not responded to our questions at the time of publishing.
This is a developing story.

When are we going to be free from all these tender irregularities. Politicians should concentrate on what they are there to do . Tenders should have a separate division where all the checks , balances and verifications are done . The jobs must be given to the qualified. No upfront payments. Upfront payments are a major problem, where unqualified company’s are handed tenders that they are unqualified for.
