WATCH: EFF to push for lie detector in legislature

Staff reporter

Bloemfontein – The Economic Freedom Fighters in Free has accused Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae, Free State Premier of lying as they responded to the State of the Province Address (SOPA).

Coach Liphoko, the provincial leader asked Mxolisi Dukwana, speaker of the legislature to be decisive.

WATCH:

Liphoko then mentioned  number of events Mathae became economic with the truth.

Mathae lied in the Internal Question Paper(IQP) under oath in 2023, she also lied about money paid to companies without any job done at Human Settlements.

WATCH:

Liphoko said Mathae has to account for the mess she left at Community Safety, Roads, and Transport while she was Member of Executive Council (MEC).

In her 14 months at Community Safety, Roads, and Transport, employees were transferred unlawfully, suspended, charged and dismissed.

Slowly but surely, some of the dismissed employees are returning back to work while others are taking the department to court.

Mathae is also awaiting a decision from DPP after a criminal case was open against her following explosive revelations by Patrick “The Butcher” Phuti.

In 2023, we published an article in which a service provider complained that Mathae threatened to terminate their contracts if they did not plough back.
