ANC Free State under fire after failing to pay staff salaries

Staff reporter

Bloemfontein – The African National Congress in Free State is catching bullets from its employees based in the legislature under the Chief Whip.

According to sources at Sebothelo House, ANC employees started getting salary cuts in April just before the elections.

A source who spoke on condition of anonymity said it’s not true that the party does not have money.

“Legislature gives political parties money every month to pay staff.

“We are told there is no money.”

Another source said they can’t even claim UIF money and blame the party.

“Every month monies were deducted from our salaries but when we go to UIF no contributions were made despite deductions by ANC.

All my policies have lapsed, should I die now? I will be buried like a pauper because of the ANC.

Right now, I have nothing, not even bread.”

Last week the Provincial Secretary handed a lab to a school in Thabo Mofutsanyane.

ANC taking the bull by the horns as the ANC-led government is caught sleeping.

But who built the lap and what is the connection with ANC?

While on payments, leaked payments in our possession to a company selling cars paint a bloody picture about Mercedes Benz V300d and this explains the story we published in which former MEC of Community Safety and Roads threatened contractors who don’t plough back.

This is a developing story.
