20-year-old girl missing in Qwaqwa

Staff reporter

Bloemfontein – The disappearance of women and young girls in particular continues unabated.

Hardly a week two suspects were apprehended by SAPS in the disappearance of Sibongile Ngwana in Bochabela, Bloemfontein, another file of a missing person has been opened.

The missing person none other than the 20-year-old Nonhlanhla Phakoe who was last seen on Friday around 22h30 wearing pyjamas with a red doek and light brown sandals.

Another person missing in Qwaqwa is Fano Motsoeneng, last seen in December, and to date, his whereabouts are not known.

Between November and December, at least two women were kidnapped and killed including a social worker based in Xhariep.

Suspects in the murder of Machaka and Ngwana will appear in court today for bail.

With schools opening on Wednesday, this might spiral out of control in law enforcement, and a social cluster (Department of Health, Social Development, and Education) will come up with a plan to put an end to this brutality.

Marching against kidnappings is as useless as K in Knife.
