Former YOTV and current Metro FM presenter Rorisang Thandekiso is set to join Lesedi FM’s Seipati “Twasa” Seoke pushing award winning Nyakallo “Ba2cada” Leine off breakfast from 1 April 2022.
Rorisang has been on the radar of the Bloemfontein-based station for years and her move to Metro FM last year was seen as a spit in the face of management who felt she would be better at Lesedi FM than Metro FM according to insiders.
Three independent sources confirmed this and other changes.
A source who spoke on condition of anonymity said Twasa will remain on the show while Ba2cada will only do 3 days on the breakfast.
“Ba2cada is going back to Top 30 and his shifts have been reduced as he will now be on breakfast show for 3 days and 1 day on saturday while Tswasa and Rori have 5 days.”
Thandekiso was spotted in Bloemfontein last Friday where she was allegedly negotiating a contract and she will moonlight between Metro FM and Lesedi FM.
The station is reportedly bringing Mosikili Bothata back. Siki as he is affectionately known was allegedly pushed out and punished after being asked by the SABC to interpret in the powermix internal case involving a former manager.
At the time Siki was seen as knowing too much and his contract was not renewed.
It turns out he challenged his alleged unfair dismissal and ultimately won hence his return.
Another source said former Motheo FM presenter Mannehileng Letuka will be joining Tholoana Moletsane on Mathemalodi while most presenters shifts have been reduced. Ntsoaki Mpesi on their other end has been shown the door.
The spokesperson for the SABC, Gugu Ntuli, could not be reached for comment.

If Thuso Motaung is not around in his show maybe on leave or sick Tsholo Leokaoke should host the show not Matshoso Mahloko.

I actually stopped listening to Lesedi fm over 12 years ago over the weakening of the language used,Sesotho language has become a “fanakalo”,maybe with the return of Siki,I may begin listening to him,further it is too political and if you listen to presenters,they can’t hide their “puppetship” to the governing party. We otherwise know the manager’s affiliation to governing party as it’s hard for her already aged spouse to be shown the door. The likes of Palo Mokoailane are people who had to be retained as one of those who preserve and have respect for our Sesotho language. I’m certainly excited if Mosikili Bothata will make a comeback. Let’s please stop with political appointments for the sake of getting people who are knowledgeable in our language and culture to present us at Lesedi FM.
