Centlec SOC will today recover over R90 million after switching off power at at least 5 government buildings.
A source from Centlec said this is a great move by CEO.
“This a great move by our CEO, Malefane Sekoboto and he can actually recover more. We must credit him for turning things around.”
Three independent sources with intimate from Free State Pronvincial Government (FSPG) confirmed buildings including Lebohang Building were switched off this morning and the cabinet exco was forced to pause to allow Director General, Kopung Ralikontsane to engage Centlec.
We have seen similar in Tshwane and Jo’burg where power was switched off and millions recovered, indeed government must pay.
Another source said FSPG owed Centlec R240 million and only made a commitment to pay half.
Lele Mamatu, Centlec spokesperson confirmed.
“Some of the building affected are O R Tambo building, Fidel Castro, Public Works, Perm Building, Medfontein and Sports institutes.”
This is a developing story.

Little too late for centlec to copy Tshwane an Joburg move. Why wouldn’t they do that long time ago.
They should take over maluti a phoofung local municipality electricity an cut all electricity to households an install them new so that they can check those who will be using electricity illegal in maluti a phoofung.
