WATCH: Two buses impounded in Parys during road safety campaign

Parys – At least two buses en route to Cape Town from Johannesburg were impounded by members of provincial traffic and South African Police Service during a road safety campaign near Vaal Toll Plaza.

WATCH:

The operation was led by Ketso “Toto” Makume, MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism earlier in partnership with Department of Community Safety, Roads, and Transport, South African Police Service and Ngwathe Traffic Police.

During the operation, two buses were impounded by law enforcement agencies.

Heavy traffic started flowing from Free State to Gauteng.

In other stale news, Dr Solomon Phera and Tshidi Setai has been appointed as Director-General and Provincial Spokesperson of Free State Provincial Government respectively.

Phera appointed Setai despite coming second and he also got appointed as previously reported.
