Advocate Mofokeng strikes again

Bloemfontein – Fresh from failing to read a financial statement a financial statement of a municipality he is charge of, Advocate Mzwakhe Mofokeng, Municipal Manager of Maluti-A-Phofung has struck again.

This time, Mofokeng has written a memo to staff washing his hands year end celebrations and referring any questions to Malekula Melato, Executive Mayor.

The party is still going ahead and will be held on the 18 December 2025, in Kerstel.

WATCH:

Ordinarily, Executive Authority be it MEC or Executive Mayor would not be involved in operational matters otherwise they would be accused of overreaching as seen in the Madlanga Commission.

Who is going to account for any financial decisions of the party from appointment if service providers to payment between Mofokeng and Melato?

Few months ago Melato said Mofokeng is competent.
