Bloemfontein – Fresh from collecting R1.1 billion in revenue and electrifying over 1800 houses, Centlec SOC has now advertised 71 vacant positions.

Centlec records R1.1 billion in the first quarter, clean audit and service delivery targets 

The Mangaung based power utility has various positions in engineering, financing, and performance and monitoring.

With Free State unemployment rate sky rocketing, at least 71 bread winners will feed their families.

Malefane Sekoboto, Chief Executive Officer of Centlec said they aim to get more professionals to the utility.

“Part of our recruitment drive is to get more professionals in order to avoid outsourcing of services.

We have invested and hired four (4) software programmers and these programmes were done under the leadership of senior programmer whom we recently promoted to a manager position within the ICT department.”

Sekoboto said they are work progress.
