Bloemfontein – The sacking of Lindiwe Mabaso, district director for Thabo Mofutsanyane has exposed how the entire Department of Education has folded to please South African Democratic Teachers Association (SADTU).
This follows a march in which SADTU demanded Mabaso’s head and as expected, she has now been axed.
Sources with intimate knowledge say SADTU is running the department and has been doing so with impunity.
“In Free State once you say no to SADTU demands you are gone, the only reason they (SADTU) hated Tate Makgoe, late former MEC it was because he refused to co-run the department with them.”
Mabaso led the district to over 90% matric pass rate with 50% bachelors last year.
She is the second employee to be hung out dry by her seniors after Comeback Legegeru suffered the same fate at the very same hands of his seniors who failed to defend him against Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae.
Department of Education under Advocate Humphrey Malakoane has failed to protect Lebo Sebeela and Dr Sekolanyane.
Only December Moloi and Bob Tladi are protected and defended at all costs.
Moloi faced was found wanting by Sam Mokgobo twice, first in the matter involving Mr Koenaesele.
Secondly, in the matter Mr Taunyane, again, nothing happened.
Tladi is yet to be charged for his role in the recruitment fuck up and he won’t be charged despite the damning PSC report. The PSC investigation started after this article in 2021.
He is friend’s with Lawrence Mathae.
