Bloemfontein – In a move that aims to loot and capture Supply Chain, Department of Education is moving Comeback Legegeru out of procurement office.
This follows an article that placed Andrew Moeti, Chief Director : Infrastructure at the heart of MEC’s children getting work in the department and the article in question is used.
But instead of Moeti being moved, Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae, Free State Premier has allegedly pushed for Comeback Legegeru, acting Supply Chain Manager.
This according to insiders, Premier is doing to protect Moeti.
Premier now involved in sms affairs….a red flag for looting.
Moeti who was transferred to Community Safety, Roads and Transport as soon as the incumbent Premier became MEC in 2023, returned to Education last year after national and provincial elections.
On the other hand, Legegeru was appointed by Bob Tladi, who has been acting as DDG: Corporate Services forever despite being implicated in the 2022 Public Service Commission’s report.
Tladi is also friend’s with Lawrence Mathae, Premier’s ex-husband. So nothing will happen to him.
Legegeru among others is according to sources targeted for tenders that he was “supposed” to award to ANC aligned contractors(names withheld) who are also close to Premier.
It’s remains to be seen if this administrative reshuffle or part of deliberate act of paving way for looting.
PREMIER’S HYPOCRISY
Legegeru is not moved because of the article, she is moving him for her own agenda. Look no further than Community Safety, Roads and Transport where a SCM Director was transferred to another unit only to come back after few weeks.
PSC reports are gathering dust that implicate senior people in government from Education and DESTEA among others, she does nothing.
With Moeti protected at all costs, we shall dig deep in his life.
Advocate Humphrey Malakoane, head of department and Dr Maniki “Mathlabs” Maboya, MEC for Education didn’t respond to our questions.
