Bloemfontein – Tshidiso Mokokoane, spokesperson for Free State Treasury has been found guilty after appearing before the disciplinary committee.
Mokokoane was placed on suspension last year following his alleged outburst and altercation with Masechaba Sesing, former Head of Department.
STEPUPSANEWS can confirm Mokokoane returned to work earlier in 2025 and appeared before dIsciplinaty committee where he pleaded guilty.
For his sin the vedict was “one month at home, unpaid”.
This was confirmed by Treasury.
“Mr. Tshediso Mokokoane pleaded guilty and subsequently a plea bargaining and settlement agreement was reached.”
In other news, Monday 15 September 2025, will mark 760 days (two years and a month) since Muhammed Ismail was suspended on full pay by Dr Masego Tshabalalala, Head of Department at Community Safety, Roads and Transport on the 15 August 2023.
