Tweespruit – The mystery surrounding the death of Putsoedi “Strike” Putsoedi continue to haunt the community of Tweespruit.
Putsoedi allegedly died after the car he was washing rolled, squashed and smashed him against the gate at the residency of Lawrance and Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae in Bloemfontein.
Sources close to the situation give different versions which raises eyebrows as to what happened to Strike.
ANC insiders say they were told, there was a child in the car.
“We were told a child was in the car when the unfortunate incident happened.”
Residents from Tweespruit where both Strike and Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae, Free State Premier come from say they were told Strike didn’t pull up the handbrake.
“What we know is Strike didn’t pull up the handbrake and the car rolled causing his untimely death, that’s what we heard.”
A medical doctor who spoke on condition of anonymity said if any of the versions is true, an autopsy could only be carried out after the police opened an inquest.
We will reach out to state mortuary and SAPS for autopsy report and inquest details respectively, although POPI ACT will likely be used as an excuse not to make the report available but the Internal Question Paper will get us answers.
Lawrence Mathae, speaker of Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality didn’t respond to our questions.
