Bloemfontein – All eyes on Dr Masego Tshabalala, head of department at Community Safety, Roads, and Transport following our story in which Monnnapule Ntamo, department’s official is seen receiving and pocketing something from the motorist during a road block in Phahameng, Bloemfontein.
It was Tshabalala while acting as HoD who re-employed Ntamo under very controversy circumstances after the Labour court found him guilty and set aside bargaining council ruling that found him not guilty.
The submission to re-employ Ntamo was signed by four people: – – PJ Mohai, Deputy Director: Labor Relations,
– Chris Electherio, Director: Finance
– Tshepo Mabilo, acting CFO
– Dr Masego Tshabalala, acting HOD
All of them sign the submission on the 20 February 2023, just after the Imvelo Conference.
A year earlier, in 2022, NN Selai declined to re-employ Ntamo full story in the link below.
Unfortunately, Setai was axed.

Ntamo’s fate is now fully in the hands on Tshabalala and whether she charges him internally and opens a criminal case with law enforcement agencies or not, it’s up to her but if she fails to, she could face criminal charges herself.
A criminal lawyer with extensive knowledge analysed the video for us and made the following comments.
“Impersonating a traffic officer is a criminal offense and is classified as fraud, it only becomes corruption if it involves bribery.”
What is also of interest is whether the roadblock in question was legal, who authorized it, and if Ntamo was receiving overtime for conducting roadblocks. Only Tshabalala can provide guidance as the accounting officer.
Few months ago Tshabalala lied and hid behind bible verses unprovoked that all transfers in her department are done according to prescripts only for Public Service Commission to prove otherwise.
She was once accused or doing dirty work former Community Safety, Roads, Transport MEC now Premier, Joyce “Pretenders” Mathae, a move she vehemently denied and the death threats she received mentioned this.

It was Dr Takisi Masiteng, former Head of Department at Department of Agriculture and Rural Development who told Mathae in her face that she is going going to collapse government and it’s happening right in front of our eyes.
It’s now up to Jabu “Edgars” Mbalula to show his teeth the same way he did when they wanted a nurse be given a written warning without due processes.
This is a developing story.
