WATCH: Ramaphosa talks tough on corruption in his January 8 statement

Cape Town – The January 8 statement by President Cyril Ramaphosa, drew the line in the sand for looters.

Ramaphosa said this while addressing the packed-to-capacity Mandela Park stadium in Khayelitsha, Cape Town on Saturday.

Sending warning shots Ramaphosa said his party will not tolerate corruption.

This was the first statement after the national and provincial elections where ANC lost its majority rule for the first since 1994.

The ANC could only garner 40% and is leading multiparty government aka Government of National Unity.

Whilst outside the stadium, Cape Town Metro Police were issuing traffic fines to cars parked on the pavement much to the annoyance of motorists.
