Bloemfontein – The MEC of Community Safety, Roads and Transport in the Free State, Jabu Mbalula has drawn a line in the sand for Lemo Festival organizers.
This follows a story we broke last month about the construction of an illegal structure on the department’s land on ERF number 5/2280 in Mangaung and Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality having asked for the plans for approval failing which they will demolish.
Mbalula’s letter on 26 August 2024, to DONCOP LTD PTY in possession of this publication came three days after we ran a story and his spokesperson had not responded to our questions but the letter did answer some of them.

The 14-day deadline expires on Tuesday, 12 September 2024 but construction is continuing as of yesterday.

Mr Mbalula must just do whats right only if Mr Kenny is occupying dat space illegally. But he Mr Mbalula must now remeber wat killed Macufe or hu killed it.
He must just fight lemo fest bcz it contravines with wat we lost as a province.
