Bloemfontein – The Member of the Executive Council for Public and Infrastructure, Dibolelo Mahlatsi has come under fire from the Economic Freedom Fighters.
This is after she splashed R100 00 of taxpayers’ money in four days from 16-20 March 2024, she was accompanied by two others; Elias Molefe and Mokoena.
The return flight for the trip is just over R32 000 while accommodation at Southern Sun Waterfront is just over R34 000 for the trip over four days.
Couch Liphoko, the provincial leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters in Free State said this is the tip of the iceberg.
WATCH:
Paul Matlanyane, the Media Liaison Officer for Mahlatsi didn’t respond to our questions including whether this trip was a government trip or a party trip.
Mahlatsi was seen wearing ANC regalia on top of a departmental branded work suit overall campaigning for ANC in Thabo Mofutsanyane.
Mahlatsi is also in the middle of the Social Development saga after she was appointed Director of Youth despite Dibuo Mabitle topping interviews chat.
Mabitle and NEHAWU took the matter to court and won, the court ordered Social Development to compensate Mabitle and pay her R3 million.
The matter is now in the Labour court.

No flights in South Africa are longer than 2 hours. It is not necessary to fly business class domesticity. As for parading about in party regalia when at work that should be prohibited. Public servants should respect where the funds (TAX FUNDS) come from.
