Mbalula gives Lihelele HELL as ANC runs helter-skelter

Staff reporter

Bloemfontein – The African National Congress (ANC) in Free State is running helter-skelter as Seven MECs are identified.

This follows the alleged dress down by Fikile Mbalula, Secretary General over Lihelele Motsoeneneng, Provincial Secretary after the swearing-in of Premier, MaQueen Mathae, Speaker, Zanele Sefuba, and Deputy Speaker, Julia Maboya on Friday.

Mathae is a former MEC for Community Safety, Roads and Transport & Treasurer General of ANCWL, Zanele Sefuba was the speaker in the 6th administration and made headlines when a foreign national tried to extort money in tete-a-tete moment, while Maboya is a former DBE employee but before she joined DBE she worked at Free State Education and was implicated by PWC report in the Mathlabs scandal.

PWC report recommended disciplinary action against all involved and bid documents grew legs.

The department paid R500 000 per class.

According to insiders, Mbalula lashed out at Motsoeneneng over the swearing-in of Sefuba and Maboya as speaker and deputy speaker respectively, and they are both likely to resign this week before they even start to work as Mxolisi Dukwana and Mathabo Leeto are poised to replace them.

Maboya is going to be one of three female MECs as ANC go for four/three split.

The other MECs to be appointed by Mathae are:

Dibolelo Mance
Elsabe Rockman
Toto Makume
Jabu Mbalula
Oupa Khoabane
Saki Mokoena

Former Premier, Mxolisi Dukwana-soon-to-be-speaker has allegedly asked to be MEC for Education but the ANC turned that down.

With seven MECs, the departments will now reduce from 10 as we previously reported as the ANC looks to get numbers in committees to hide and protect their looting. If they are not looting let them share details of their fund raising.

With at least two HAWKS sources confirming investigations into Mathlabs, we will in the coming weeks profile each of the MECs and how they all ferried in their previous employment including working with the same Ace Magashule they all blame.

We will start with Jabu Mbalula, from his arrest with an unlicensed firearm, his role at NYDA, and his ambassadorship, followed by Elsabe Rockman and her role in the website scandal.

In other news another official has built a house in 6 months, how did she acquire so much wealth is such a short period of time?

ANC veteran, Smuts Ngonyama once said, “ I didn’t struggle to be poor”, while Professor, PLO addressing Nigerians said, “We elect the ‘worst’ to lead us”.

It was former president, Thabo Mbeki who while addressing ANC in Mangaung in February 2022 who put the last nail in the coffin.
