Staff reporter
Bloemfontein – The head of department (HoD) at Free State department of Human Settlement (HS), Mosa Masemene has been referred to Public Service Commission (PSC) by a staff member.
This is according to a 5 page letter sent to PSC alleging she may have misconducted herself.
Masemene has been centre of attraction since her appointment which also raised eyebrows after she allegedly got a appointed few weeks after meeting the current Premier, Mxolisi Dukwana while he was MEC of Human Settlement and COGTA, and former Premier Sefora Ntombela on the 29 July 22 in a fancy house in Sandton, and this has not been disputed.
Key among the complaint to PSC are:
- the upliftment of suspensions of two senior managers fingered in the ASBESTOS case while third person remains suspended and it’s none other than the director of SCM,
- DBSA payment of R75 million
- Gap Infrastructure Corporation
- Kuhle Solution appointment despite their quote being highest
Now, there is another investigation which according to the complainant, it’s objective is to suspend the very two senior managers after what the complainant cites as HoD having “accomplished her objective” .
We are in possession of letters from Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) and National Human Settlement on some of the issues raised with PSC and in coming weeks leading up to the departmental budget vote we will share their contents.
There are also allegations that the HoD insisted Kuhle Solutions be appointed and it’s alleged she has close relationship with the director of Kuhle Solutions.
As things stand, Human Settlement does not a spokesperson and Anathi is the MEC’s spokesperson and the alleged forgery of Dukwana’s signature.
In all this, Dukwana has never said anything.
