Bloemfontein – The Chief Director responsible for District Management and Infrastructure Planning at Free State Education, Sam Mokhobo, continues to live by his biblical name.
Just like in the bible, Education’s Sam who has been tasked to lead districts has led the province to the number 1 spot back to back in an unprecedented manner.
The districts under his leadership has led Mangaung district to number 2 nationally and number 1 in the province.
Year-on-year Free State has shown an increase from 85.7% in 2021, 88.5% in 2022 & 89.03 in 2023.
What is also to note is the province has achieved 15 414 bachelor’s, 10 282 diplomas, and 4952 higher certificates.
Mokgobo will be concerned with Mathematics and Physical Science pass not forgetting Free State had 34 000 matriculants and second lowest after Northern Cape despite its footprint.
Just last week Sam held a school readiness and assessment with district leaders to roll out this year’s plan.
