Bloemfontein – With the Free State Provincial Government (FSPG) under the leadership of Premier, Mxolisi Dukwana embarking on a service delivery feedback session, one critical project that was previously used as election machinery remains incomplete years after it was started.
Over the past few weeks, the Premier and MECs ran to Lesedi FM’s Jwale Ke Nako in paid-for interviews aimed at convincing Free State residents that indeed their government has service delivery by the throat, the opposite is true.
According to Premier Dukwana, 75 119 jobs have been created, and 29 136 beneficiaries of Gender Based Violence have been reached through prevention programs.

We took a shot left to check the status of Winnie Madikezela town previously Brandfort, considering months before local government elections the community of Masilonyane Local Municipalities embarked on protests citing unemployment, lack of services, and demanded changing the town would not change their life.
What we found at Winnie Madikizela Museum was nothing unexpected, the museum is still incomplete despite the official opening being earmarked for May 2022. That was 18 months.

Only a few rooms have office furniture and memorabilia belonging to Mam Winnie.

The gymnasium is covered in grass and at the time of the visit the gates were locked and the gym equipment remained unused.
This project was conceptualized in the 2007/8 financial year.
Let that sink in.
