WATCH: “Macufe should benefit residents of Mangaung”, says MCC

Following our latest article on Friday, 22 July 2022 in which we reported chaos of the chaos at the Macufe briefing session, Step Up SA News afforded Mangaung Concerned Community (MCC) and Sefora Ntombela, Free State Premier their right of reply respectively.

In an exclusive interview with MCC represented by Themba Zweni, spokesperson, and Donald Constable who represented the forum at the chaotic briefing session, they both made it very clear that Macufe service providers must be from Mangaung.

While Zweni and Donald claim Free State businessmen are not getting business in other provinces and they are chased we think this is not true.

Some businessmen and women are from the Free States who are doing well in other provinces and if they want to advance their agenda they must not do so by inciting the public.

Asked if the Premier had engaged MCC following the chaos Pietersen said, “there is a continuous engagement with various stakeholders on an ongoing basis to discuss whatever concerns which they may have. Including with the MCC.”

In other news as we know there are other activities outside Macufe during the same period, Consumer Connectedness (C-2) has raised the bar with their activities which start on the 1 – 10 October, most at the central Old Grey sports ground.

Themed “Ha monate jwang” they start with an Amapiano concert on Saturday, 1 October 2022 followed by Gospel Festival on Sunday, 2 October featuring a local Teboho Moloi, Lebo Sekgobela, Dr. Tumi, and Benjamin Dube among others.

The comedy festive is also on the cards with hot comedians such as Skhumba, Mashabela and Mashata.

The rest of the activities are on their website www.soulfoulsounds.co.za

Insiders at O R Tambo building say with C-2 having booked all great local artists the technical committee will meet later today to devise some means and with the budget at R23 milion they cant afford them.

Why not approach C-2 & turn Soulful Sounds into Macufe because they failed?
