Thabo Manyoni’s campaign is gaining momentum

The campaign of Thabo Manyoni, former Mangaung Executive Mayor in the Free State ANC provincial conference is gaining momentum.

This is as the province gets ready for its elective conference in September to elect the top 5.

Will it be the second time lucky for Manyoni?

Manyoni contested the suspended ANC secretary-general, Ace Magashule in 2017 only to pull out at the eleventh hour citing vote-rigging.

Those in Manyoni’s camp claim victory is certain.

A source who spoke on condition of anonymity said Thabo Manyoni will be chairman come September.

“We are currently working on the ground with branches and it’s all systems go, #TM22 is in motion and Thabo will be the chairman after the conference.”

Another source concurred and said Thabo Manyoni’s campaign is led by Monas Ntamo and in due course, he will communicate all plans.

“We are led by Monas Ntamo as the campaign coordinator and every region has its coordinator but we all take the queue from him.”
As previously reported Thabo Manyoni was endorsed by Premier Sefora Ntombela in the ANC WhatsApp group only for members to eat her alive.

Manyoni brings a wealth of experience having led Mangaung Metro Municipality and refurbished Dr. Molemela Stadium, Hoffman Square, and the famous useless Mangaung taxi rank that cost taxpayers R350 million.

He will be up against Mxolisi Dukwana, the IPC convener who is alleged to be losing support left, right, and center.

His advantage is having Paseka Nompondo on his slate. History will tell you that a conference can not be won without the provincial secretary on your slate.

Monas Ntamo did not respond to our questions
including what is Manyoni’s manifesto and who is funding them.
