During the launch of Letsema, an ANC project, president Ramaphosa asked the Free State province residents to donate to Kwazulu Natal and hardly a month later Free State Premier and her MECs are in KZN donating essentials.
The visit by Free State premier, Sefora Ntombela, and her three other MECs to Kwazulu Natal has been met with mixed reactions with others calling the act attention-seeking.

This visit by the Premier and her entourage to hand over aid donated by the people of the Free State after KZN province was hit by heavy floods which left families homeless.
The essentials donated from the Free State include blankets, food, toilet paper, and toiletries.
While handing over the donations Ntombela said.
“These are the donations from business people, from ordinary people in the Free State.
Bare o tshidisehe, le ba hlokalletsweng, bathi I must send their condolences. So we are just here ukunikegeza from the people of the Free State. Don’t lose hope, we shall overcome. Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso.”

While this is appreciated but at what expense and which other province has donated anything to KZN?
Free State residents continue to suffer and live in horrible conditions in informal settlements and need blankets and food but the Premier and MECs think donating to KZN is a brilliant move.
